Rest of the Kurosuke family is taken care of rather easily. The group goes back Grandma Sanshou's curry place, hoping that her Curry of Life would put some life force back into Ranmaru. But Karashi, still hoping to become Kurasuke family's member, carries Ranmaru back to Raiga's corpse. With his special eyes Ranmaru manages to see that Raiga isn't dead after all. To save his best and only friend, Ranmaru risks his life by transferring his life energy to Raiga's body.
