Over the time skip, Kankuro has become a Jonin-level ninja and has added a third puppet, Sanshouo, to his arsenal, the abilities of which are unknown. He also has more purple paint lines on his face. He also now keeps his puppets contained in summoning scrolls on his back. Kankuro has also developed a closer relationship with Gaara, who no longer views Kankuro as an annoying family member. Gaara also seems to have begun to confide in Kankuro, sharing his dreams of wanting to risk his life to protect Sunagakure with Kankuro. As such, Kankuro has become very protective of Gaara, willing to challenge anyone who puts Gaara down in his presence. |
