John and Eva look into the death of a student at a New York City private school, an investigation that ends up uncovering an "affair". Meanwhile, one of John's secrets is revealed when he has a flashback to 1941.

Oh..on today?!
Looks like I'm not going to be watching it. Maybe I should get into LOST, but Kelly's profile suggested shows that I should watch instead. Lost or Reba, Lost or Reba? |

I really liked the backstory on John. It was surprising that Omar is his son. I figured they had a strong relationship in the last episode, but I was pretty surprised.
I kinda liked the crime story in this episode better than the pilot.
Hopefully they'll keep this show around, or wise-up and not pit it against Lost. |

LMAO how is it that I figured that out hours ago and haven't seen the episode?
Also, whoops, tried to edit my other post to do the spoiler thingy but apparently it's been over an hour. Eh. Whatever. |

I'm pretty sure they're moving it to Monday, in the time slot just vacated by Terminator. I just hope they don't pit either of those shows against Heroes when it returns!
It's bad enough that Supernatural had to be up against Lost for a short while. |

Yeah, Mondays are going to be a toughy. Heroes, 24 (whenever it comes back), How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, and now New Amsterdam. |

This crime story in this episode was a lot easier to follow.
How does John keep having all these children and still keep his immortality secret from their mothers? Or maybe he doesn't. I guess that's all to be seen. Interesting premise, either way. He seems to REALLY want to tell people the truth, even if he knows they'll think he's joking.
