Resistance - Recap

The scene opens with a flashback to one year ago. Nikita is showing Alex who she is and she shows Alex her gravestone. She tells that Division killed Alex’s father and Nikita tells that she saved her life. Alex runs off and tells that it isn’t real. Alex wakes up in her room at Division and Birkhoff tells that the test is almost over and Alex is sending a message to Nikita. She talks about the evaluation is up and they have to interrogate a prisoner at Division. She tells her to do a good job. Michael comes into Percy’s office and asks if he is going to be reprimanded for breaking into his office and Percy tells that he trusts his judgments. Percy tells that he is certain that Nikita is dead along with the other agent. Michael asks who the agent was and he tells that he was just another agent that didn’t do what he was told. Meanwhile at Nikita’s, Owen is lying on the bed and he is handcuffed to the bed. Nikita tries to explain to him what happened and he grabs Nikita by the throat and she stabs him in the leg. She tells that she is trying to destroy the black box of Percy’s. She throws him some antiseptics and tells him to calm down.

At Division, Marrow is the prisoner that Alex is going to have to interrogate and Amanda gives her a remote to an electricity device to be able to use if the prisoner gets too aggressive. She goes inside and she starts to question the prisoner. Meanwhile, Michael is watching and Percy comes in to check on her. He tells Michael that Alex is a special recruit. Inside the room, Alex is refusing to use the electric device and Marrow gets free and chokes Alex. Michael comes to her aid and they take Marrow out. He tells that it is alright. However, Amanda and Percy see something between Michael and Alex. Michael comes up to the recruits that they are going to take them to a different part to finish their training. At Nikita’s Owen wakes up naked. Nikita tells that she dressed his wound in his leg. Nikita tells Owen about Daniel, her boyfriend, and how Division did the same to Emily. She tells that she wants to be able to get the black box so that she can prevent Percy from killing.

The recruits are on their way to the training and Thom tells Alex that the kiss didn’t mean anything. They crash and men shoot through the bus and kill some Division agents. Men enter the bus and drag the recruits out. Alex and Thom are hit in the face with rifles. When Alex wakes up, she is tied to a chair. A man comes in and tells that her people captured his brother and she is going to tell him some answers or else suffer electric shock. He turns it on and shocks her when she tells that she doesn’t know anything. Michael, Percy, Birkhoff, and Amanda are watching from an observation room and Michael asks if the electric shock is necessary. Amanda tells that the test is run on every recruit. Amanda tells that Alex needs to know that her enemies won’t show her the same mercy and will electrocute her. She spills that she works for Division and that she is not one of them. She tells that she was dragged out of prison and taken prisoner herself to division. Amanda is watching and she is curious as to where Alex is taking this.

Back with Nikita and Owen, he tells that there are other agents that have the other four hard drives out there. He tells Nikita that he was a cleaner and that he didn’t ask any questions until he was assigned to guard the box in Montreal. There he met Emily and started to see all the people he had killed. Back with Alex, the capturer tells that he is going to check with Thom and tells Alex that he is in the other room and that he will kill him. She tells that Thom has been in Division longer and that he is brainwashed. He goes into Thom and gives him a sedative. Amanda tells Michael that it will make him look dead. Alex hears the gun shots and they bring Thom’s body inside. He walks up to Alex and tells that his family was murdered by her people. He asks who killed her parents and Alex breaks free of her restraints and shoots the capturer. She scales the wall and climbs in the vent. Percy and the rest are panicking and they start searching for Alex who starts to run and escapes. The scene flashbacks to one year ago and Alex is there with a towel and Nikita walks up and gives her money and an ID. She tells that she was there and that she was not lying. She tells that she rescued her but didn’t anticipate her being sold to sex traffickers. She tells that she wanted to find her so that she could do one good thing in her life. Nikita walks away.

Alex is still running away and Birkhoff tells that he activated Alex’s tracking device. He tells that she is 5 miles away. Meanwhile at Nikita’s, Owen comes clean that he was the one that carried out the hit to kill Nikita’s boyfriend. He tells that it was quick. She asks if Michael knew about it and he tells that Percy gave him the order. She tells that the box is in a park. Alex runs up to a pay phone and called Nikita. She tells of the hostage taking and Nikita tells that it is a test and tells that she will go get her. Nikita suits up and Owen thinks that she is going to kill him now. Nikita is arrives at the gas station and Nikita is about to get to her and Michael pulls up. He tells that it was all part of a test and she tells that he is sick. He tells that he will protect her and cannot lose her too. Back at Nikita’s, Owen sees the morphine on the table and contemplates. Alex is taken back to Division and Percy asks why she is still there. Michael tells that a dead body on the outside is hard to explain and tells the guards to take her to Level 6. Percy stops them and tells that Michael was a test subject to see where his loyalties lie. Alex tells that both men are sick.

In her room, Alex is throwing a ball and Michael comes in and tells that he meant every word he said at the gas station. Flashback to one year ago again and Alex walks up to Nikita and tells that she believes her and tells that she is going with her to take Division down so that she doesn’t have to do it alone. She tells that she can’t because she is inexperienced and Alex asks her to train her. Nikita enters her place and finds that Owen is gone. He escaped using the needle on the syringe. She goes over to the gun case and there is a note that says that Owen is going to do it alone. Meanwhile, Owen is in Montreal and he is digging up the black box and putting it into his bag. He walks off and the episode ends.
