The Recruit - Recap

The scene opens with Alex, Thom and a group of recruits coming in for a virtual world fight scenario and they are split up into two teams. Alex is put with two recruits named Robbie and Sara. Michael tells them to know their enemies and their friends. The scene flashbacks to two months before insertion and Nikita has Alex read poetry to get her voice to match up. She tells that she needs to know who her friends are and know who the enemies are too. She tells her not to get close to the friends because they could be gone in a second. They get down to it and Robbie seems to be the leader of the group and tells them to watch out. Sara is told to watch the rear and she takes a moment to protect Alex and their team are killed. Afterward, Ronnie gives Sara a hard time for costing them the game and Thom pulls him to the side and tells that everyone knows that he is the best of the recruits, but tells that he needs to relax. In the locker room, Sara tells that she has been activated and that she needs to be better. Alex asks if she can help her with her mission and she tells that she will think about it.

Michael is at the firing range and Birkhoff comes and tells that he needs to get over Nikita and move on. Birkhoff tells that he has moved on and is at acceptance. He suggests Michael do the same. Alex talks with Nikita through the computer and tells that Sara was activated and Nikita tells that it could be a suicide mission instead of canceling them inside. Meanwhile, Sara is making a video for Eco Front and she tells that she will be infiltrating the group. Texpro Oil is the next protest. Percy comes in and tells that it is an important mission. She leaves and Percy asks Amanda if the vest is the device and the only casualties will be Eco Front. Amanda tells that Sara was already scheduled for cancellation. Sara walks and Alex comes up and Sara tells that she doesn’t want her help and she Alex sees the logo. She tells Nikita that it is a logo of Green and White logo with a tree and bird. Nikita looks up logos and finds Eco Front and their next protest. She gets ready for her next mission.

At Division, Robbie wants to know how the lowest ranking recruit gets activated first. Thom comes up and tells that he is not missing anything. Alex speaks up and tells that she was sent on a no combat mission and she was almost killed. She tells Robbie not to rush to get out. At the protest, Nikita is there and has a device. The agents get Sara prepared and Birkhoff is running surveilence. The bomb is armed and Sara walks in. Birkhoff sees Nikita on the screen. Percy tells them to detonate the vest. Nikita walks up to Sara. The agent tells that he can’t detonate the vest. Sara and Nikita fight and the guards come by. Sara runs off and Nikita follows. Michael comes up and Birkhoff tells that Nikita is alive. Sara runs to the van and Nikita gets the vest off of Sara and throws it under the van. She shoots the jammer and the van explodes. Sara points the gun on Nikita and tells that she is going to take her. In the car, Nikita asks where they are going. She tells that she wants to go to Division and Nikita asks where it is, but Sara doesn’t know where they are. Sara is distracted and Nikita punches her unconscious.

At Nikita’s, Sara watches the video that she recorded. She still doesn’t believe Nikita and tries to charge at her again. Nikita throws her down and tells her that she doesn’t want anything to happen to her like it happened to her. Sara starts to believe. At Division, Alex is trying to get a hold of Nikita and Robbie sneaks up on her. He tells that he is going to graduate soon and become an agent. At Nikita’s, she tells Sara that they are going to make a new video that says that TexPro paid her to bomb it and then they will give her a new life. Sara tells that she can’t leave because she has a son here that she needs to find. She made a promise to get her baby back. Nikita tells that she is trying to help her not control her. On a bridge, Nikita waits for the passport and new identity and a man on a moped comes and gives it to Nikita. She tells that she needs to make the video and then go to school and live off the grid. She grabs the passports and jumps over the bridge into a truck full of dirt. She goes to the office of Mr. Hersey and tells that she had a son and hits him in the head with the phone. She tells him to tell where he is.

At Division, Robbie gets called for his evaluation. He tells that he is not going to miss it down there. He meets with Amanda and she tells that he is going to be serving as a guard and tells that there are many paths. Birkhoff tells that Sara is back on the grid stealing the car and the car has a GPS tracker. Nikita goes to Hersey’s office and asks where he sent Sara. In the locker room, Alex sees Robbie punching a locker and tells that they told him that he is a guard. He tells that there is no future despite what Alex tells that he will learn and listen and wait. Nikita gets in the back seat of the car and points a gun to her head and tells her to get out of the car. Nikita gets Sara in her car and Division is right behind. They pull up to an area to have a shoot out and it begins. Meanwhile at Division, Robbie snaps and sees himself getting on an elevator. The guard that has been in his face all day calls him retarded and Robbie shoots him. He then starts killing every guard there. At the shootout, Birkhoff tells that Division is in Code Black and no backup is coming and that he has been ordered to get back to Division. Alex comes up to Robbie and he tells that he snapped. Alex tells that she knows a back entrance and she tells that she’ll show her. Alex reaches for Robbie’s stun gun and gets free.

Michael walks into Percy’s office and Percy tells that they have had a bad week and Michael lies and tells that Sara’s dead. Percy shows the video of Sara telling it was TexPro who paid her. Sara watches her son play basketball and Nikita tells that it is time. Sara asks for one more minute and hears that her son’s name is Daniel. Nikita takes a moment of grief and they drive off. Later, Nikita tells Alex that Sara is safe. Alex tells that they executed Robbie and tells that she was right about getting close. Nikita tells if Alex felt nothing, she’d be one of them. Amanda walks up to Robbie, who is tied up. She tells that Robbie is going to be able to be a Cleaner.
