The scene opens with Nikita and Alex sneaking into some residence. Nikita distracts the guards while Alex sneaks inside. She goes to the bedroom and climbs under the bed. She sees Thom’s body and men come in and shine a flashlight on her. Alex wakes up with Birkhoff welcoming her back. She just got a new agent tracker implanted in her neck per Percy’s orders. Michael doesn’t know about it, but Percy tells that it is the best choice. Jaden goes up to Alex and hugs her and congratulates her on making agent. She snidely adds even though she had to kill Thom to get it. Michael escorts Alex to her new apartment and she is happy. Michael gives her the cover she is going to be working under. Alex Winslow is her cover. Michael tells that she is free to go as she pleases just as long as she shows up to work when she is called.

Alex goes to the grocery store and Nikita is there. They hug and Nikita tells that she wasn’t expecting the move to agent would be so quick. Alex tells that she is ready for it. She shows the agent tracker they put in her and Nikita looks worried. The scene changes to a flashback four years ago. Percy tells that they have a kill chip implanted into the Japanese dignitary’s neck. He tells Birkhoff to flip the switch. Suddenly the Japanese dignitary falls dead. Percy tells that he will be autopsied as an aneurysm that caused his death. He asks Nikita if she has a problem and she tells that she doesn’t. Percy tells Birkhoff that they need to manufacture it so that they can use it on their agents someday. Nikita is not happy that Percy has now tried it out on Alex. Meanwhile, Ryan Fletcher is having dinner with a woman and she goes to the bathroom to “powder her nose” and Nikita walks up and gives Birkhoff’s file and tells that he needs to meet her in the alley tomorrow and tells that he needs to arrest Birkhoff. He asks who Birkhoff is and Nikita is gone. The woman comes back and asks Ryan if he is ready for an “adventure”.
The next day, Ryan meets Nikita and she tells that she saved Ryan’s life and she now needs him to help save someone else’s life. She tells that he needs to drag in Birkhoff and she needs to be there too because if the laptop goes more than 25 ft. away from him, the hard drive fries. Ryan asks what he does if Birkhoff alerts Division. Nikita is betting on that. Meanwhile, Alex gets back to her apartment and puts the key in. A flashback six years ago shows Alex when she was younger. She is in the Russian wilderness. Her father teaches her to build a fire and tells that he won’t be around forever and tells that she is going to have to take care of herself. Nathan, the neighbor next door, introduces himself. He helps her with her groceries which consist of marshmallow fluff and he asks if an apocalypse of Zombies is coming. He invites her to his apartment for a party later tonight. She tells that she’ll see and introduces himself.
Later that night, Birkhoff is coming out of a comic book store when a van drives up. People get out and put Birkhoff in. Ryan calls Nikita and tells that it is done. Nikita meets Alex at a store and she tells gives her a virus to put in the mainframe of Division’s computers. She tells that she wanted to stop by a neighbor’s party. Nikita warns her not to get too comfortable and Alex reminds Nikita that she wants revenge just as much as Nikita does. Ryan has Birkhoff taken to an office building and taken into the conference room. Nikita is in the adjacent room and Ryan gives Birkhoff’s laptop to her. She tells that Ryan needs to get the password out of Birkhoff. Ryan goes inside and tells that he knows about Birkhoff’s alias “Shadow-Walker”, but Birkhoff denies the entire thing. Meanwhile at Division, Michael tells that Birkhoff has not checked in and his tracker is unable to track. This happened when Nikita went rogue as well.

Alex goes home and decides to go to the party. She goes inside and finds Nathan. She talks to his friends and they ask what school she went to in New Jersey. One party guy comes up to Alex and demands that she dance with him. Alex throws him down and everyone is shocked at what she did. She runs out. Percy calls Barbara, the new head of Langley and tells that one of her agents took his agent. She tells that she can’t help if she doesn’t know anything. Percy asks where Ryan Fletcher is and she tells that she doesn’t know because they don’t tag their agents with GPS. Back at the office, Ryan gets a text asking if he knows anything about Birkhoff and Nikita tells that he will handle things by herself now.
She goes in the room with Birkhoff and he is scared. She asks Birkhoff to give his password or get a tracking device in his teeth. She goes back and Ryan demands answers. Nikita tells that an agent named Alex has a kill chip in her head and that she needs to stop them. Meanwhile, Alex gets ready to go to Division when Nathan stops her. He tells that she needs a friend and he is willing to be there. He invites her to a concert and she declines. The scene does another flashback with Alex as a young girl. She is with her father again and he tells that it is hard and tells that he took away the radio because it was a distraction to who she is supposed to become. Inside the building, Birhoff takes the bait and gives up his password. Nikita is in and sends a message to Division to come and get him. Michael comes in the building and Ryan recognizes him as the agent as the one that tried to kill him. Ryan introduces himself to Michael and Michael demands that Birhoff be set free. He hears Birkoff’s voice and kicks in the door. He tells that Nikita was there.
Michael runs out of the room and sees Nikita. He is detained by security. Nikita goes to the elevators and other security agents demand to see her I.D. Michael hits the security guards and Nikita hits the others. Nikita gets a key card and leaves before Michael can get her and he is detained by other security guards. At Division, Alex plugs in the virus and Amanda comes up and tells that Alex shouldn’t get too comfortable because they know where she is at all times. Alex tells that she understands. Barbara goes in and tells the security to let Michael and Birkhoff go and tells that she will deal with Ryan later. Michael gets back to Division and Birkhoff tells that Nikita got into his laptop, but doesn’t know what she did. Percy tells Michael to send Ryan a message not to do business with Nikita. Suddenly a video of Nikita appears and broadcasts across Division to everyone. She tells that she is planning to take Division down and welcomes anyone to join her.

Later at a bar, Nikita meets with Ryan and he tells that he has been demoted with no clearance now. Nikita thanks Ryan for his help with Alex by kissing him. She tells that she is going to make Ryan a hero and get him a position that was better than his last one. Ryan writes down “Who is Alex”. Nikita meets with Alex and tells that she rerouted her tracking device and tells that she can control it. She tells that Alex can flee now. Alex tells that is not the plan and she tells that she can live a normal life. Alex tells that she is there until the end and finish the fight. She tells that she can call anytime. Birkhoff and Michael vet the agents and see that Alex is home. Alex is in her car and has another flashback. She is back in the wilderness with her father and they arrive home. She runs upstairs and crawls under the bed and listens to her radio. Back with Alex, she meets Nathan at the concert and tells that she might as well enjoy her time away from Division.
