Coup De Grace - Recap

The scene opens with Division going through training sessions and Alex is telling Nikita the plans. Nikita walks in to a press conference. Prince Erik of Georgia is the target and Alex is with Nikita on it. They see a news report where Princess Kristina and Prince Eric meet on a tv show and show the necklace that Princess Kristina is showing. Alex tells Nikita that Michael won’t be taking lead on this mission and tells that he is reconfiguring security defenses. Nikita asks if Michael has asked about her and Alex tells that he hasn’t. When Alex tries to get Nikita to tell what is going on with her and Michael, she is quiet. She tells her to concentrate on the mission.

Alex sneaks into the tech room to get an itinerary of the mission when a tech guy, who is filling in for Birkhoff, asks what she is doing. Alex tells that she is getting reports to review for the mission and the guy offers to put them on her phone. Michael comes in and asks if Alex is alright. She tells that she is fine. She asks if the new security measures are Nikita Proof. He tells that it had better work. He tells Alex to be careful on her mission. Nikita and Alex look at the personnel files and find General Anton Zahidov has the most to gain with the death of the prince. Alex suggests that they get to Kristina to get to Eric. Alex is happy that she is fighting Division with Nikita.

Later, Nikita photshops a picture of the necklace and heads to the event. She tells the assistant of the Prince, Lela, and tells that the necklace is a fake. She tells that she needs to talk to the Princess. Anton stops them and looks at Nikita’s files. He lets her go. Kristina goes up to Nikita and Nikita shows that she has the itinerary of her actions and tells that someone is trying to kill her husband. She tells that they can talk elsewhere. In the security room, Kristina asks the guards for the room and Nikita looks for the prince. Suddenly, Anton comes from the back and tases Nikita. Kristina tells that they have to get rid of her. Kristina calls Percy up and asks who Nikita is and he tells that she is a deserter of them and that if Kristina kills her, he will be happy. Anton comes in with a laundry cart and puts Nikita inside. In the van, Steven, the team leader, tells them that they have to be in and out. He tells that Nikita is inside, but she is already put down. Alex looks worried. However, in the basement, Anton uncovers the laundry basket and Nikita is awake and kicks his butt. She takes off the heels of her shoes and takes his radio with her. Division comes in and starts to kill guards. Nikita comes up and holds Erik back. She tells that people are trying to kill him. The Division team gets closer and when Steven is about to kill Erik, he is gone.

The Division agents hold the other guests hostage as Steven goes to the security room and searches for Nikita. Meanwhile, Nikita and Erik are sneaking around and he tells that he is not surprised that Kristina was involved because he had told her that he was giving up being prince. He tells that he doesn’t love Kristina, but he loves Lela, the assistant. Nikita patches into Lela’s headset and Erik tells her to be strong and that he will come and get her. Nikita takes the headset and tells that Kristina is behind everything and that Alex is a friend of hers and to give her headset to her. Alex gets on and asks if she is alright. She keeps face and tells that she will take Nikita down again. She tells that there are two guards looking for her. Nikita tells that she needs the police there. Alex goes into the security room and tells that Nikita is on the phone. She tells him to give up and Steven tells that he won’t. Two guards come in and Nikita sneaks up and takes the agents down with a sword. Steven tells that they will get her. Erik tells that Nikita is hurt, but she doesn’t care. They get to the top of the roof and the police arrive. Nikita tells him to go and he tells that he is not going to leave Lela there inside. Nikita realizes that she has to take the prince along with her. Inside, Alex tries to knock some sense into Steven’s head and he tells that they are not dropping out. He tells that Percy is going to reward them if they can kill Nikita.

The police set up and call into the hotel. Steve walks up to it and yanks it off the line. Nikita and Erik move to the basement and Nikita sees a valve for Halon Gas. Erik tells that he needs to look at the ricochet wound. He tells that he is a doctor. He tells that he loved Lela before Kristina and he ever got married. They only married so that they can bury the hate between their families and to show the people that they can believe in him. Nikita feels that Kristina might hurt Lela. Meanwhile, Lela talks to Kristina and tells that Erik will be alright. She talks to the crowd and tell that even if Erik falls, their country doesn’t need to falter. Lela agrees and tells that she hopes that whoever involved get what they deserve. At Division, Percy sends Michael to clean things up. Nikita patches through to the NYPD Commander and tells that they should not engage the hostage takers. Suddenly a FBI van pulls up and it is Michael and his team. He gives Nikita a chance to walk out and she tells that she won’t back down. Michael tells that he came to get his people out and is not negotiating. Alex gets back inside the security room and tells that the FBI are there. They find out that they are Michael and his team. Alex pushes the intercom and Nikita hears that they have 5 minutes before Michael and his team go inside. Kristina stands up and tells that she wants to talk to whoever is in charge. She goes to the security room and tells that she knows how to flush Erik out.

Steven tells Nikita to pick up the nearest phone or they are going to kill Lela. Erik is about to do it when Nikita stops him. She tells that it is a trap and that he shouldn’t do it. They don’t shoot her and Steven tells that they are going to have to do something else. Kristina tells them to kill Lela anyways because she knows of the plans. Alex tells that she has an idea and breaks one Lela’s fingers. She tells Nikita that she will continue to break every finger until she picks up the phone. Nikita does and Steven gets their location. Steven leaves and Alex tells that there are three people moving toward her. Kristina tells Alex to get rid of Lela. Steven and a few agents investigate and Nikita takes two of them down. Steven is about to shoot Nikita when Erik tries to shoot him and they run off. Nikita knocks Steven down. She calls Alex and tells her to send Lela to the roof. Michael and his team enter and take the Division agents to safety. Kristina smacks Alex in the face and tells that it is for her country. Alex punches her in the face and tells that was for her. Michael tells that Kristina was just trying to sell the act and Alex tells that she was too. Lela gets to the roof and Nikita tells them to go strait to the police and escape the FBI. She tells Erik to fight for what he believes.

Michael and a few team members go back in to hunt for Nikita. She releases the valve for Halon Gas. Nikita swoops down and takes one of them. Michael talks to one of the team members outside that says that the Prince is in NYPD custody. He turns around and sees that one of agents has no FBI clothes. They walk out and it was Nikita who stole the suit and walks away. Michael takes a look and Nikita disappears. Nikita and Alex celebrate their win and Kristina is put on trial for attempting to kill Prince Erik. Michael calls Alex and asks what Nikita told her when she talked to her. She tells that Nikita told her the usual stuff. Alex hangs up the phone and tells that was close. Michael is at division looking at video footage of Alex. He is trying to read her lips and her lips are telling a different story then what she is telling.
