The scene opens with Senator Pierce holds a meeting with Oversight members. She points out the dangers Nikita means to them. Two of them are already dead, and nothing is stopping her. Besides, Oversight cannot avail secret service protection, because the President is unaware of the shadow government. Meanwhile, Nikita is back home from her morning jog. She complains about Birkhoff’s diet habits when he is making his breakfast mix. Division won’t need to kill him, she comments. Not before long, Birkhoff shows her Alex, who has arrived recently, and feels dejected about many new things she has found out in Russia. Nikita tries to console her – she can stay there as long as she wants, but she cannot be doing the pills. Alex tells her she got them from her mother, who is alive, and now staying with Sergey, the man who killed her father. Nikita tells her about Carla, a woman who had assured her safety in town, but left before long. As a result, Nikita ended up in prison, and Carla never came to see her – even while she was on death row.

Meanwhile, at the senator’s mansion, Sean Pierce (the senator’s son) is able to locate Alex at Nikita’s through the GPS tracker he has speculatively fixed in her dad’s watch. His mother is at meeting with Oversight members in the next room, and they point out that Alex has not been able to take down Sergei Semak, Amanda has been messing up beyond estimate, and Nikita is after them. Bruce points out that the common thing between all these women is Division. While Senator Pierce suggests a change in leadership, the others point out they have already tried it. What they need now is something more drastic. A clean sweep. Meanwhile, at Division HQ, Amanda gets to the imprisoned Percy. He promises to escape. Although Amanda shows her unbeatable confidence on the outside, she knows she cannot sit back and do nothing. Not before long, she calls a staff meeting, and tells them that she is expecting an attack on Division. Although this bunker was designed to withstand Soviet nuclear strikes, they cannot play defense. The sooner they identify the threat, the sooner they should eliminate it. Besides, no one is leaving or coming inside HQ without her approval.
Not before long, Sean is on his way out to Nikita’s place. Senator Pierce wants him to at least take a temporary position at Division, but he does not have any time for all that. When his mother insists that a lot of people might die in the clean sweep and complete liquidation of all Division personnel, Sean realizes that it is leading to a mass murder. When are they going to attack, asks Sean. Soon, replies his mother. And where is going now? He tells her he may have a lead on Nikita. However, he will think about dismantling Division – as opposed to letting Oversight go for a clean sweep. Hopefully after today, that will be all that’s left to be done.
Meanwhile at Nikita’s place, when she and Alex are talking about a previous operation in Belarus, Alex is surprised to learn that her operation caused a close shave with Michael. Besides, Nikita is expecting him to come soon. Birkhoff butts in to check about Percy. Alex tells him Amanda and she are the only people with whom Percy can communicate from his basement cell. However, Birkhoff points out that he may have passed on some message or another through Alex. She points out that Division did not fund her operation in Russia. Percy transferred him the funds – electronic bank transfer. Seeing the transparency as Birkhoff points out, Alex realizes it was her fault.

Amanda gets back to Percy’s cell, and offers him a room with a view, only if he complies. However, Percy’s not giving in, and he wants release. He wants Amanda to tell Division there has been a slight mistake, and put him back to power. This will be good for her. Besides, it has never been about the money for him. What then, power? Amanda would not understand – for Percy, it is like teaching alphabets to a lap dog, because that’s what she is. No vision, no foresight, no masterplan. Meanwhile, as Alex is on her way out to the store, she wants to know if Birkhoof would like some real food. Beer is all he needs. Not before long, Michael arrives. After a pleasant greeting, Alex and Birkhoff leave Nikita and Michael alone. Meanwhile, Sean has arrived on the coast in a combat suit carrying a sniper rifle. He crashes a glass window aiming at Nikita inside her house, but misses as Alex is quick to knock his aim off. Michael and Nikita arrive soon and take him in. Alex wants to know how he found her, and Sean gestures at her father’s watch. Livid, as she is about to break it, Birkhoff offers to take out the tracker. Besides, Nikita points out that Sean came without cover or support. No one knows where he is, and he doesn’t want to let them know that.
Meanwhile, as Percy and Amanda continue their altercation, he lets on that she was never his equal. He created Division, and she will always assume the submissive position, whether it is Division or Oversight. Percy is the don, and Amanda his conciliar. He never undermined consulting her, but she can never assume the position of Percy’s power. He manages to plant a hit on Amanda’s ego, and she leaves without any words left to hit back. Meanwhile, Division Guardians are moving towards Senator Pierce’s place. They are looking to lay an attack on the team that is talking about a clean sweep for Division. The discussions there proceed to the possible dangers of simply dismantling Division. Senator Pierce presses why they should be arguing about Division when her son is already out to dismantle Division. Bruce points out that simply dismantling will only help the best trained assassins spread all over the country, and then they will kill per their will. Does the senator think that will be a safe?
Meanwhile, Nikita tries to make a conversation with Sean. He blames her for trying to kill his mother, but she argues she has never killed a member of Oversight. Sean has. Besides, when Michael wants to know why Division members keep Sean unharmed, he tells them it is because they know he will take the word straight to the authorities. Nikita argues he will not even get that far. Besides, if they feel Sean is a danger, not even his mother can protect him. After facing humiliation from Percy, Amanda decides to put him in a coma. However, he needs approval from Oversight, and manages to get it. Nikita offers water to Sean, but he is not talking. She explains where they stand, and where he stands. When Alex helps handcuffed Sean with the water, he reveals he wanted her to take out Sergey. Besides, it was because she wanted it.
Meanwhile, the guardians break through Senator Pierce’s mansion perimeter by taking out two guards. Discussions at Nikita’s place reveal that Oversight’s plan would mean killing all staff members, whom Michael points out are innocent foot soldiers. Sean argues they are the same people Nikita’s side has been planning to kill.

Not before long, the Guardians break into the senator’s building, and enter the discussion room. Bruce wants to know if the guardian knows whom he is threatening to kill. The Guardian argues he takes his orders only from one person. By now, Nikita has already called Senator Pierce from her son’s phone. He is still alive, but a clean sweep could mean otherwise. Michael overhears the Guardian’s voice, and is quick to recognize him. At Division HQ, when Amanda is about to administer the coma dosage on Percy, her phone rings unexpectedly. It is the Guardian – release Percy, or he will trigger a clean sweep for Division. Percy glares back at Amanda – he had told her – Division is either his, or no one’s. The episode ends.
