He hears a scream and leaps to the scene, where he finds a mugger attacking a woman. The mugger draws a gun, but a man in a baseball cap shoots him from behind and runs into the woods. Episode Quotes
Katie: I don't get it. You used to complain that Jim didn't have anything in his life. Now that he finally has a thing, you're going to complain about that?
Stephanie: I was hoping it'd be a hobby, like model airplanes or stamp collecting.
Katie: Oh, trust me, you do not want to be with a stamp collector. Their fingers are sticky, and their tongues are always dry.

Jim: Well, maybe we should pay Mr. Meyers a little visit.
George: Should I drive or do you want me to just hop on your back and we could... I'll drive. Probably better.

George: Okay, you're gonna talk to him, feel him out. The thing criminals love to do is talk about themselves. Make him comfortable, you get him to open up. Same idea as when you were single--think of it as a blind date, but with a sociopath.

Dr. Francis Chiles: Am I interrupting?
Katie: Uh, what? No
Stephanie: No. We are just talking about--our work.
Katie: We are talking about our periods. Our periods of time in which we like to work.
Dr. Francis Chiles: I can't believe you two beat me for the research grant.

George: It's part of your Jim-ness. you... you see the world the way you are. I see the world, too. You know what I see? Robbery, Rape, robbery, murder. Take it from me, as an attorney, people suck. Even the people who don't appear to suck at first glance...
Jim: Suck?
George: Yeah.

Cultural References
George: If enough people say they got busted by Mr. Clean...

Mr. Clean is a bald white-clad cartoon mascot for Mr. Clean cleaner by Procter & Gamble. It is a common nickname for bald men.

George: Come on, man. Every Batman needs his Robin.

Batman is costumed vigilante Bruce Wayne, who prowls the streets of Gotham City battling costumed maniacs such as the Joker and Robin. Robin is his sidekick, originally Dick Grayson.
