North Shore: Pilot

Drama immediately surrounds the characters when Jason decides to work at the Grand Waimea. Jason finds out his ex girlfriend, Nicole, is working there as well. This puts a past lovers quarrel between the both of them but they try to show the owner they can be both professional. Meanwhile, Gabriel, the lifeguard, gets into some trouble about a sudden accusation with a young girl.

Episode Notes

Most of the series is filmed in Oahu, Hawaii.

The "Pilot" episode does moderately well in the ratings scoring over 6 million viewers for it's original airing. Despite a good viewing for a new show over the summer, the show quickly sunk in to cancelation range after this episode barely being able to get 4 million viewers for a single episode. Even with good lead ins, the show proved it could not handle an audience.

This is the only episode that Tessa does not appear in for the duration of the series, hence her not being listed in the opening cast list.
