	Constance Flynn Hazard, played by Wendy Kilbourne George meets Constance Flynn when her father saves Orry's leg after he is wounded in the Mexican war. She is an Irish Catholic and the conflict that causes is downplayed greatly. She is a strong woman but supports George greatly.
