Years of Service - Recap

Jackie is driving along Kevin trying to get him to get back into the car. He doesn't want to get back into the car with Jackie. Jackie gets fed up and drives off leaving him to find his way home. She is sitting at home taking a pill and then Kevin is finally home and walks past her. He doesn't want her to talk to him. Eddie drove him home. He tells her that he called him and Jackie says "tell me you didn't say anything?" and Eddie says "thank you would have been cool".

Kevin tells her that he can't believe she left him on the side of the road. She says she can't either. She tells him that she took the money and he doesn't care why she did it and it doesn't matter. She tells him that he is right because she isn't there like he is. She tells him that she doesn't have the peace of mind that he does and is jealous he can sleep at night. She says she did it to help and not rip them apart. She said that she figured he knew she was going to take the money and he tells her that it never even occurred to her. He asks if that is everything and she tells him that she loves him and hugs him.

The next morning the kids ask how he got home. He says he came home on a motorcycle. The youngest goes to see if they got one and they notice that she left the keys in the door. That is when Kevin notices she has a personal post office mailbox. That is when he starts digging around trying to find things.

For whatever reason Dr. Cooper thinks that it is time to mention that he had sex with Sam's girlfriend. Sam is clearly upset by this and punches him straight in the nose. Dr. Cooper is whiny as always and tries to get him fired. Gloria just gives Sam an extended probationary period. Gloria is just not down with that kind of behavior and then reminds him that he said he was going to pay for the campaign. She is also convinced that someone is smoking in the hospital. She climbs the ladder and looks in the ceiling and finds "God" (a crazy guy) that is up there smoking and "watching his flock". He says he's not ready to "walk among them" because of the pain. Gloria talks him down and says that he can stay until tomorrow morning. Jackie's victim goes in to see if she is in today. "God" says that he has a bad feeling about him and Gloria says that is not a way to talk about his flock. "God" tells her that he is not one of his.

Eleanor is still upset about Jackie's lying, but they soon reconcile and Eleanor says that Jackie can handle it however she would like. Eleanor still feels a bit uneasy about it, but she just kind of does it to diffuse the situation. She actually does tell her she is addicted in a round about way. Jackie apologizes for lying and Eleanor even tells her that she coordinates her schedule with hers. Jackie and Eleanor also catch Zooey and Lenny making out in the chapel.

Sam relapses and seems to be having alcohol poisoning. Jackie takes him into the bathroom and asks that Zoey get Thor, blankets, and some drugs. Jackie and Thor take him into the basement and do a dance to keep him alert. She thinks he is going to aspirate if they don't get him dealt with in a quiet manner. Sam asks why she is helping and she says it's cause he's messed up. He says he drank a gallon of vodka and Hawaiian punch.

Jackie and Eddie talk and she says they need to calm down because she could tell things weren't going well with Kevin and needed to work on that. He was alright with this, but unfortunately Kevin had been finding some things out on his own.

Zooey and her main man Lenny are getting closer. Eddie walks in on their make out fest because she got excited over him bringing extra duck sauce with her egg rolls. There is a man who seems to be the victim of Jackie's need to steal pills when he was having seizures. He corners her and tells her that he is going to need his stuff back. Thor makes an attack and defends Jackie from the man's threats. In other news, Eddie is settling in well. He seems a little easier to deal with and being a good friend to both Jackie and her husband, even.

Lenny and Zooey are still in the chapel and she has a gift she wants to give him. She is too scared to give it to him but he tells her to just do it. She gives him a watch and it is a sweet moment.

Kevin starts to really find out how messed up Jackie is on drugs. He had found a key to her PO box and went to check out what she was hiding. She had been hiding bills in the box and he had found them right there. Eleanor and Kevin get together to talk and he tells her about how he really didn't want to take the money. He even begged her not to. They get together to talk to her. She goes into panic mode as soon as she walks in and loses it on them, because she just knows it is an intervention. She ends up locking herself inside of her bathroom. Finally, at the end she pictures herself doing the whole "I'm _____ and I'm an addict" thing in rehab. She didn't like this idea and it ends with her laughing and saying "Blow me".
