The Astonishing - Recap

Gracie is worried about memorizing lines for the school play that she is in. Jackie has made her a costume for the play and Gracie gets angry, because it included wings when Saints do not have wings. Afterwards, Jackie goes to meet up with her dealer. He is out of drugs, but is personally going to get more supply. He invites her to his house that evening.

Zoey decides to invite Dr. O'Hara and Jackie to lunch. Dr. Cooper is still "struggling" with the divorce of his parents and his boss tells him that he really needs to pull himself together.

There is an overdose that has come into the ER and Sam is not comfortable with it. Jackie tells him that this person needs help and asks him what his sponsor would do. This gives him the initiative to help out.

There are two girls that are intoxicated and they are flirting with Dr. Cooper as he treats one of them for an injury. At home, Kevin gets a visit from his uncle. His uncle is a cop.

At lunch, Zoey tells O'Hara and Jackie that she has a blog devoted to them and want to get as much information about them as possible. This does not bode well. As Gloria is trying to get her new phone system to work, Cooper comes in. He announces that he will be purging.

Kevin and his uncle talk about the issues with Jackie. His uncle decides to tell him that he should have an affair. Kevin does not like the sound of it and rejects it. Jackie is still at work and she actually catches Kelly flirting with the drunk girls.

Kelly warns Dr. O'Hara against not restraining the overdose patient, because he is on PCP. She does not listen to him and ends up being smacked into a wall by the patient. She ends up going to Eddie for comfort. Thor helps Gloria get the phones in order.

Jackie gets a phone call from Grace, who has called to apologize for yelling at her earlier that morning.

Zoey talks to Kelly about being nice to Jackie. After that, Kelly is confronted about the flirting and he gets angry and walks away. She follows him into the bathroom and he calls her out on clearly being high while on duty. After that, Jackie goes to get drugs from Eddie. She tells him that she threw her back out while trying to restrain the overdose patient, but he does not believe her one bit. She is drug seeking and he is not allowing himself to be played by it. She gets angry.

Zoey and Cooper talk about the problems that he has been having in his life.

Work is over and Jackie goes to meet with her dealer. She gets a text from Kevin reminding her about the play. She sees her dealer. A gargoyle falls from the building and he gets out of the way only to end up being hit and killed by a truck. Jackie goes to the play where Grace has been having issues with the lines, when she gets there she is fine with the lines.
