On Tour with the Queen celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Commonwealth with Kwame Kwei-Armah retraces the Queen's 1953 journey around the Colonies. The Queen's tour covered five different continents and lasted six months.

Kwame takes a look around Libya, Malta and Gibralta before returning home. He then attends the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Commonwealth at Westminster Abbey where he gets the chance to meet the Queen.
