A young Cora approaches her sleeping father outside of their miller's hut. She angrily awakens him and insist that they need food. Cora then delivers the flour to the local castle and Princess Eva trips her. King Xavier and Prince Henry come over and make sure that Eva is unharmed. Episode Quotes
Emma: You don't look comfortable.
Gold: The poison racing towards my heart will have that effect.

Emma: I can't cast a spell. I can spell "spell."

Rumpelstiltskin: Magic is about emotion. Summon up that moment that made you so angry you would've killed if you could.
Cora: You do that?
Rumpelstiltskin: I do.
Cora: What's your moment?
Rumpelstiltskin: Once... a man made me kiss his boots in front of my son. Now in my mind, I go back and I rip out his throat and I crunch his veins with my teeth. And that, dearie, is how magic is made.
Cora: Bloodlust.
Rumpelstiltskin: I like the phrase.

Rumplestiltskin: Love the dress.
Cora: Well, brides have to be snow white.
Rumplestiltskin: When you see the future, irony is everywhere.

Gold: I know that you're... confused about who you are. So I'm gonna tell you. You are a hero who helped your people. You're a beautiful woman who loved an ugly man. Really, really loved me. You find goodness in others. And when it's not there, you create it. You make me want to go back... back to the best version of me. And that never happened before. So when you look in the mirror and you don't know who you are, that's who you are. Thank you... Belle.
