I Can’t See You, But I Know You're There - Recap

Haley is still writing in the little journal she is creating. She is talking about how she misses everyone. She is still trying to get into touch with her sister, but she is starting to get worried. She says that when it gets really quiet, she really starts to miss everyone. Mouth shows up to Hoes over Bros and is shocked it is empty. Brooke, her mother, and Millicent are all speaking to their lawyer. She has the following charges against her: 1 count conspiracy to commit fraud, 1 count conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and 3 counts wired fraud. She asks if it matters that she had no clue about any of it and he says that it doesn't matter because she had "signed" all of the documents necessary to prove she had something to do with it.

Alex is at the bar with her new beau showing him all of the alcohol recipes she's learned how to do. He has gotten more business from her working there, too. Haley has decided to go directly to Clay's house and she is uncomfortable with the fact that they aren't answering. She is knocking on all of the doors to the house. Then she finds an open door and finds Quinn and Clay on the floor. Clay and Quinn are still in what seems like limbo. He is trying to convince her that what happened wasn't a dream and she needs to remember what happened when she went to the bedroom. She remembers and he thinks that it is his fault. He goes to run in the house and literally sees himself and Quinn being brought into the hospital. He takes full blame for it.

Haley is sitting in the hospital waiting room trying to get a hold of Brooke. She is asking Millicent and her mother about what is going on and why she is being set up. She is very angry and not taking the blame for any of it. She decides to call Mia to ask to pick up Jamie and take care of him until she gets a chance. At the bar, Alex is bringing a lot of business but also making Chase uncomfortable. Mia comes in to ask if she can borrow Chase's car and then decides to take a shot from Alex so that he has to drive to get Jamie since she's been drinking.

Chase goes to get Jamie and he doesn't really remember him, but he explains who he is and why he should remember him. He says that he is supposed to pick him up and Jamie is causing some trouble due to the fact that he thinks he is a stranger. Mia comes up and asks what is up and he denies her, too. Julian comes up and tells him that Haley left a message to pick him up and he goes easily. Chase is convinced Jamie hates him and Mia is mad that she didn't get invited to Utah.

Quinn and Clay are walking around the ICU. She is convinced that this is a dream. They are basically ghosts at this point. Quinn got out of surgery and is on a breathing machine and it seems that Clay hasn't gotten out of surgery, yet. Jamie asks Julian what is wrong and he says there is nothing going on. Jamie is smarter than that, but he won't tell him yet. He still wants to know what is going on.

Clay is still in surgery and he is watching as they are losing him on the table. Jamie is teaching Julian how to play baseball. This is going to pass some time until things get figured out. He makes literally no hits when in the batting cage. Jamie plays better than Julian and he gets a bit jealous. He does teach him how to hit a ball, though. Haley and Brooke are still at the hospital. She is blaming herself over everything that has been going on because she didn't check on them earlier than that.

Mia and Chase are talking about why she felt like she had to break up with him. She said she left him, because she felt like he deserved better. Alex and Mouth are at the bar and he is jealous she got the job instead of him. Chase shows up and she asks how everything is going on with the ex and he says things are fine. Jamie is still kicking Julian's butt in all the games that they play. Jamie still wants to know what is going on, but he refuses to tell him still.

Quinn's ghost asks Clay if they're still alive and that they'll go back to being them again. She says that if she has to be stuck there at least it is with him. Haley is sitting next to Quinn and Nathan shows up. Nathan goes to visit Clay after he visits with Quinn. He talks to him and tells him to get better so they can get out of the hospital. He tells him that his life is so much better because of him and he's not sure he's ever said thank you because of it.

He says that the doctors say it is a miracle that he is even breathing. He knows that all of this is nothing because he knows his spirit and strength. He just wants him to come back to them when he can. His ghost is standing behind him and says he loves him too and that he is going to miss him. Haley is talking to Quinn while she is unconscious. She talks about all of the special memories that they had together. She tells her that she is pregnant and she wants her to be the godmother. She begs her to come back.

Clay comes back to Quinn's room. They walk off to a beautiful place and they go for a walk. He said that he was going to take her there. It is like he knows that he is going to die, because he is telling her to live her life with no regrets. He tells her that she has to leave him now. Brooke, Nathan, and Haley are talking about what happened to Brooke that day. She could lose her company.

Jamie and Julian are at the bar. Jamie asks if something happened to his aunt Quinn. He tells him that Quinn is in the hospital. He asks that they go to the hospital to see her. Nathan is still in Clay's room and Haley is with her sister. Mouth meets up with Millicent at the bar accidentally. Clay's ghost disappears from Quinn's ghost. That is when Jamie and Julian walk into the hospital and Brooke and Jamie hug. Millicent and Mouth talk about what is going on and Alex goes to talk to them, but they don't seem receptive.

Brooke shows up to the store and says to her mother that she must've never been proud of her. She says that she is proud of her and believes in her. She says she gambles on her talent and instinct. She says Brooke pays her to gamble, but she has been proud of her for free. Quinn and Clay's ghosts are still discussing that she needs to leave him now. She wants to stay with him no matter what and he thinks that he is definitely dying because he feels like he's stronger than ever. He says he won't let her die even if she wanted to.

Jamie gets the chance to talk to Quinn alone. As her ghost digs in the sand, he goes to speak to her. As soon as he speaks she can hear him and feel what he's saying. He says he is sorry. She digs in the sand and brings out a chest. He brought her his lucky charm. He says he loves her and not to worry because she looks really pretty. His lucky charm is in the chest that she's found.

Nathan goes to the hospital chapel to meet up with Haley. She says that not long ago she was there praying for her mother. She is losing the battle of being accepting of what is going on. He too is feeling the same way. Instead of camp he has decided to be there with everyone. Quinn walks up to Clay and says she wants to stay with him. He says he needs her to go back because it was his fault. Millicent is still rambling about what is going on and Mouth is miserable because he is broke.

Mia goes up to Alex and says that it was her fault what happened with Chase, but it doesn't make her any less of a bitch. Brooke is taking the blame for what happened with her business, too. Julian talks her down from that and tells her that no one can take away her talent. Quinn's ghost is really upset that she will have to live without him. She begs him to come back with her. He says he can't explain it, but this is what they have to do and she has to trust him. She makes him promise that he is going to live a long, healthy, amazing life with her. He tells her to open her eyes and she does and he is still left behind at their beach.
