Lists, Plans - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Brooke Davis is dreaming about a redneck wedding. It's pure ugliness and
goes on far too long. Over at Nate & Hayley's, Jamie is practicing his
spelling with mom. He almost winds up with broccoli in his lunch when he
starts to spell it wrong, but he saves the day and it goes in Nate's
lunch. He doesn't like spelling bees much, which surprised Haley, since
she loves them. That's because she was a nerd, as Nate has told Jamie on
numerous occasions. They both roll out the door with their freshly
packed lunches and a cheerful "Have a fun day at school, boys!" from Haley.

Quinn and Clay are saying goodbye. He has to go on a trip about clients,
and she has too much to do to join him.

Haley takes a call from Mia, who thinks she just booked Kid Cudi at
Tric. She's thinking Erin could open.

Nate's not sure which professor he should take, and he is told Stuart.
All the athletes go to him because you can sleep through class and still
pass. Nathan chooses Kellerman. He has to get the Professor's permission
to start late, and it's granted.

Quinn shows up at Dan's place of employment. She asks him about murder.
She looks familiar, and with a little help he is able to place her.
Haley's sister. She wants help dealing with the woman that tried to kill
her and Clay. She says whenever she's not angry, she's afraid. But not
anymore. Dan says she should stay afraid. He flips the door sign to
'closed' and tells her to have a seat.

Brooke doesn't know when she'll have the wedding dresses ready. Haley
takes her book away and tells her she needs new inspiration.

Jamie wants to play video games with Nate, but he can't. He has to
study. Maybe Jamie can call Chuck? No can do, Jamie replies. He's
grounded for using his name in the banana-fo-fana song. He tells Jamie
that he has a really tough teacher, and they bond a bit. He uses a
basketball game as an example. They were supposed to lose by 27, and
they only lost by three. That game really helped improve their defense.
Without that improvement, they would've never made it to the final four.
So that's why Nate chose the hard teacher. Doesn't Jamie have some
spelling bee studying to do? Jamie spells arbitrate correctly. Nate
asks how he got so smart, and Jamie attributes it to Haley's genes.

Brooke is unamused by her and Julian's moms hitting it off so well, and
scurrying off to New York. He's all for it, since it left the two of
them alone together. He finds Brooke's bucket list that she made when
she was rich. Julian asks why she didn't do any of them when she had
the chance, and she said she guesses she was too busy getting rich.

Quinn wraps up her story for Dan. One seven-day coma later, she's in
fear for her life, wondering when that woman, Sara, is going to show up
and finish the job. Quinn doesn't trust the police, they couldn't even
find Sara. This is all on her to resolve. Dan looks her in the eye and
tells Quinn that if she does this, she will lose a piece of herself that
she will never get back. She returns the favor by telling him she's
already lost that part. She's trying to do something to make sure she
doesn't lose all the rest of her. Dan advises her to go get some sleep.
Tomorrow, if she still wants to kill someone, she should come see him.

Brooke calls the caterers and informs them she is cutting the wedding
down from 150 to 75. When she hears that it's going to be more money,
she says fine. Now it's zero. She starts her car, and a DVD start
speaking at her in French. Learning French was one of the items on her
bucket list.

Nathan is repeatedly approached by his fans for pictures and autographs.
The professor is not amused.

Dan is giving Quinn detailed information on how to deal with the body.
He includes a hammer, since if she does not deal with the dental
records, they will come back to haunt her. He wraps things up by
telling her that finding someone is the easy part. Making sure they are
never found again? Not so much. He can tell by the look on Quinn's
face that she had never taken any of this into consideration. She
shakes her head, telling him that she just wants all this to stop. Dan
says no. She wants to be the one to stop it, and that's a whole other
ball game.

Chase is sitting up the bar at Tric when Alex arrives. He apologizes
for the way he's treated her lately but she shakes her head and tells
him that won't work. He asks if she is refusing to accept his apology,
and she acts as though he did not say anything. Alex proceeds to tell
him exactly how she wants her bar set up. He asks why, and she says
because Haley asked her to celebrity bar tend that evening. And as for
that other thing, don't worry about it.

Mya is upset that Alex will be doing the bar tending. She wanted to.
And besides, she taught Chase to tend bar and he taught Alex. Haley
wants Alex, because she has like a million followers on Twitter. Mya
points out that her 237,000 followers are very devoted. Haley gives Mya
the job, and as she walks out murmurs "Done, and done."

Brooke arrives home, asking Julian if he's the one who planted the
French CD in her car. She's hoping it was him and not some Euro trash
stalker. He doesn't answer, but she finds a package that says "put this
on". When she opens it, she finds an Oktoberfest ensemble. Julian is in
the kitchen wearing a matching outfit and pouring ale, because
Oktoberfest is a state of mind. He invites her to her James Bond marathon.

Professor Kellerman asks for someone to explain, using the terms from
the book, how taking this class is comparable to entering a contract.
Nathan doesn't have his hand in the air, but the professor calls on him
anyway. He has no idea. The professor comes down pretty hard on him.
As Nathan is leaving, he asks the professor for a moment. He asks if he
could not have given been Nate a couple of days to catch up. The
professor says $97,795. Nathan doesn't understand. That's what an
athletic student is worth to the university, vs. $13,000 for a
non-athletic student. The professor is fed up with having to pass
athletic students. He does not have to pass Nathan. As he is walking
away, Nathan informs him that he had a choice of teachers and he chose
Kellerman. He intends to hold up his end of the contract. Kellerman
responds that he won't hold his breath.

Julian shows up on a scooter so that Brooke can fulfill her motorcycle
ride wish. When she points out that this is not a motorcycle he tries
the Oktoberfest line again, stating that "motorcycle is a state of
mind." When she laughs, he says it's the only thing they would let him
rent without a motorcycle license. He says it's actually a lot of fun,
sort of like riding a jet ski except on land. Finally he tells her that
everyone in France rides one, they're quite fashionable. They ride off
together.

Alex has already received 150 positive RSVP's, and Mya claims she has a
good amount as well. In fact, she'd be interested in a little wager as
to who will have more fans. Alex accepts just as Chase arrives and says
he's not comfortable with them working together. Alex advises him to
stay away from bar tending, and he can be their bitch tonight.

Nathan tells Jamie his teacher was mean to him today, and he has to
study a lot. Jamie suggest that maybe Nathan would like to pull a prank
on Kellerman, but Nate says no. He has trouble remembering lists, so
Jamie teaches him an easy trick.

Erin arrives, and is introduced to Kid Cudi. He tells her she's opening,
and she's very excited. She's not nervous at all. Haley tells her this
was Mya's idea.

Dan continues working with Quinn. She'll need an untraceable gun. She
will need to get in nice and close. The only reason Sara didn't kill
Quinn, is because she shot her from across the room. Basically if she's
not close enough to feel the blood spatter on her face, she's too far
away. He suggests she should for the heart, because the head is too
messy. Quinn think Dan is just trying to scare her, but he says no.
Seeing the light go out of somebody's eyes, and knowing you are the one
who took it, is something you never forget. She needs to remember one
thing: the minute she pulls the trigger, she will never be the same
again. For the rest of her life, it will be there.

Brooke and Julian are going skydiving, much to her dismay and against
her will. A girl can change her mind. He reads her that lame quote
that's in all the emails about the moments that take your breath away,
and they make the jump.

Haley takes the mic and introduces the latest addition to Red Bedroom
Records, Erin McCree. As she performs, Alex and Mya give Chase more
grief. The customers do the same, as everybody Chase tried to wait on
tells him they are waiting for either Alex or Mya. He tells them they
can skip the 20 minute wait if they'll accept a drink from him. One
young man says he'll pay $20.00 for a beer right now, if he can get it
from Haley. Alex tells him to go to change something in the back, and
as he leaves he hisses at Haley "You did this to me." As Erin winds up
her song, the crowd goes wild.

Dan continues to tutor Quinn. She's going to need an airtight alibi,
and also be prepared for life on the run, should she get caught. Her
phone rings and Dan grabs it, telling her that Clay has a right to know.
He was shot as well. He'll probably be happy to hear this. Dan holds
the phone out of a reach for several seconds, but then gives it to
Quinn. She tells Clay the reception is horrible. She tells him she's
having a bad day, and would like to call him later on tonight. They
exchange I love yous as she hangs up. Dan know she couldn't tell Clay
because she knows what she's doing is wrong. Look around her; is this
the life she wants. It would be a life of complete isolation from
everyone she ever cared about. Dan ended two lives the day he pulled
that trigger, and one of them was his. She can save hers. Don't do
this. Quinn leaves without another word.

Kid Cudi starts performing. Chase says in his new role as servant, he's
going to go fetch some clean glasses. Alex promptly drops a partially
full bottle of tequila in the garbage, and says she's going to go get a
new one. Mya says OK. Erin thanks Mya for giving her the opening act
position this evening. Mya says she's just paying it forward. Alex
finds Chase and says she hopes he realizes there just teasing. That's
not how she feels about him, not even a little. She then kisses him,
saying "Don't tell Mya."

Nate and Jamie are enjoying ice cream sundae overkill, when Jamie
decides to pop quiz him about the list. Nathan answers him correctly.

Team Mya won the bet, because she has the home team advantage. Alex
says she's proud of what she did here tonight, but she locks eyes with
chase and smiles as she says it.

Quinn breaks down in tears as she drives home.

Julian and Brooke share a bowl of pasta and some wine. She apologizes
for being so moody. They say the only thing worse than being poor is
being rich and then poor. Chase doesn't know who 'they' are, and
neither does Brooke. She knows she's still quite rich, simply because
she's with Chase. He promises that no matter what he will give her the
last item on the list; a baby. No matter what it takes. They make
their way to bed.

When Haley gets home, she finds both her boys asleep on the couch. They
catch up about their day. He tells her that Jamie is a great tutor.
Jamie sleepily spells tutor. Nathan had no idea there was an 'o' in tutor.

After her amazingly exciting day, Brooke finally designs her wedding gown.

Quinn throws her gun off a bridge. Sara is headed back to town.
