  Episode Quotes
Nathan: Father, can I ask you a question? When you decided you wanted to be a priest how did you know it was the right thing to do?
Father: I had a devout belief in God.
Nathan: Can you prove that to us, with some sort of a test I mean?
Priest: Of course not.
Nathan: Just like you can't prove love with a test. I mean, this is just a score on a sheet of paper. Sure, Haley and I have our differences, but this test doesn't show how hard we've worked to keep this relationship together, or that I can't stand it when we're apart, or that every time I look at her I know that I'm gonna be with her for the rest of my life. We love each other Father, no test is going to show that.

Lucas: (to Whitey and Nathan) I can't play tonight. I have a heart condition. I have HCM and I haven't been taking my medication so that I wouldn't slow down my game. And if I play I could die. I know how selfish I've been, I just didn't wanna leave the game behind. Because the game did change my life, just like yours. And it's gonna be hard to let it go.

Cooper: So how much for the wall? I'm guessing its less without the creepy clown.

Cooper: Well, I always wanted to meet the girl Nathan crashed a race car for.
Haley: Well, I always wanted to meet the guy that let Nathan crash a race car.

Peyton: Brooke, are you awake?
Brooke: Honey, how could I possibly be sleeping when you are thinking so loudly?

  Episode Goofs
When Haley learns that she and Nathan failed their compatibility test she states that she's never failed a test before. However, in "The Living Years" Haley fails an English test after skipping school with Nathan.

  Episode References
Cooper: So how much for the wall? I'm guessing its less without the creepy clown.

In "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning", Cooper asks Nathan the same thing when he stops by to visit Nathan. In that episode, the picture of Haley on the wall had been splashed with pink paint and had a clown hanging over it.

  Analysis
The lyrics to the song that the episode was named for, "I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me", can be related to Jake and Peyton's relationship, which is rekindled during this episode. The lyrics talk about a lost love and how their love is the only place that feels like home, much like Jake returning to Tree Hill.
