Nine people with very little in common decide to pool their money and buy a run down house large enough to accomodate all of them. Predictably, life in the house is chaotic as the inhabitants have a tendency to drive each other to the edge of madness.
The series was created by Norman Hudis who wrote the Carry On movie series and has the same humour. Many of the Carry On cast participated in Our House.
The initial series ran for 13 episodes. Another 26 were made for the second series, but the last 19 of them were shown in limited areas. Of the 39 episodes, only 3 are known to have been preserved. The other 36 have been lost forever.
