Evie Garland is unique. Her mother is from the United States and her father is from the planet Anterias. Because her father is from another planet, Evie has some special powers. She can stop time, create simple objects and transport herself from place to place. She can talk to her father by using a crystal cube she keeps in her bedroom. Maureen Flannigan played Evie, Donna Pescow played her human mother, and Doug McClure played Kyle Applegate, a former cowboy actor who now served as mayor of the town in which they lived.
