The woman Crosby was baring his soul to is a real estate agent. The
house he's interested in just had it's price cut to 1.1. It's a good
neighborhood, full of kids playing catch and learning how to ride bike
with their folks. A smaller house across the street catches his eye, and
he asks how much that one is.

why she didn't tell her. Amber didn't know how to bring it up, and she
chickened out. Sarah asks if she thought she'd be mad, and she said no,

out what's next. And that's why Amber didn't tell her. She's not ready
for what's next. She's not ready to think of it that way. She feels
really upset and vulnerable about it, and doesn't want advice or ideas.

Crosby arrives to speak with Adam, who is just as angry at him now as he
was when he first found out Crosby slept with Max' therapist. Crosby
apologizes again, but fights to get past Adam's defenses. He tells him
about buying the house to try to win them back, but Adam tells him he's
behaving like a childish idiot. Seriously; that's his plan? Yes,
actually. That's the plan. Crosby reiterates his apology, but goes on to
say that that doesn't mean that every single decision he makes from here
on out can be labeled stupid and immature.
Has Adam ever made a mistake? No, Adam boisterously announces that he
never has. Not like that. Adam opens the door and aims Crosby out the door.

Tonya Harding. Julia wants special time with Sydney, who points out

about his prom night. He was a zombie who just wanted to get his date's
dress off. Kristina agrees to talk to Haddie again.
Crosby wants to talk to Sarah - just two minutes. He's not denying what
he did. He takes full responsibility, but he wants to try to move past
what he did. He tells her about his house intentions, and Sarah can't
believe he's going to buy a house with no input from Jasmine. He hoped
Sarah could come by and give him a female perspective on whether she'll
think it's cute or nice, or if she would like it. She agrees to do so.
She says it's a grand gesture. It's obvious he's very hurt by Adam's
rejection.

needs to show up tomorrow.
The two couples arrive at prom. Brandon and Amber continue their banter.
Camille and Zeek arrive at Joel and Julia's. She's teaching Sydney
French. She wants to teach Sydney golf, but Sydney doesn't want to
learn. She's feeling a little smothered. Julia finally notices that
she's gone too far. She gets up and leaves the room. Zeek asks Joel
what's going on.
Amber's ex-best friend greets her at prom, and they chat a bit. She's
going to Yale, and is bragging on Amber's intelligence. Amber sort of
lies and says she didn't get in anywhere she applied. She only applied
to two schools, Berkeley and the backup school. The world is her oyster,
right? She can do whatever she wants since she's not tied down anywhere.

dress.

he's always wanted to play golf. She laughs through her tears and tells
him she loves him so much.
Amber heads outside for a cigarette, and Sarah starts writing.
Everybody meets Crosby at his house. It's a major fixer-upper, and it
was a cat house. Julia points out the house across the street as being
adorable. He tells her he already bought this house. Buyer's remorse
hits hard. They tell him he doesn't have to go through with it, and he
says it's too late, he already sold the houseboat. It seemed like the
thing to do.
Adam answers. It was the thing to do. What kind of a grown up guy lives
on a houseboat? Crosby thanks him for coming. Adam smiles and nods, and
points out that this place is a dump. Crosby asks if he can fix it, and
Adam says no. But he thinks that we can fix it. They hug.
