What they said was that the Mayan Calendar only goes up to 2012, but the experts who have studied Mayan culture said that they never stated a time that the world was going to end. At least that's what I understood. |

So the Mayans never said why their calendar stops at 2012. You would have thought someone would have asked them about that. |

or perhaps the mayans thought my 2012 they would just make a new calender, it's a circle the more years the bigger the calendar circle has to be |

An astronomer said that the Mayan calender doesn't end, it merely comes to the end of a cycle and then begins again...like the odometer on a car. The problem is that the modern world is trying to match it up with our calender, which is not how theirs works. |
