Recap

The episode begins with Pierce telling his class about lying and how to figure out how to catch someone lying. He tells them about the polygraph. Alongside, we see that Moretti has hooked someone on to a polygraph and is questioning this man about an intruder who broke into his house last night. In the class, Pierce says that it is not a bad tool but it only measures stress response. But he poses a question to the class: Can the brain ever lie to itself? At a café, Moretti bumps into a man and spills tea on his jacket. He buys her a new tea and then tells her that she could buy him a real drink. She thanks him for the tea and leaves. She then meets Pierce. She is actually there for a case; she shows him a picture of Frank and Olena Prentice. ..
