Phil and Lloyd are racing Skyaks, when Lloyd shows him one of the greatest gifts, the afterburner. Phil gets to have the afterburner on one condition; that he babysit Pim while his parents are on the road. While Phil thinks it will be easy, Pim tries to make everything difficult for him. Also, Lloyd and Barbara are not used to the 21st century laws. | | There are no foreign summaries for this episode: Contribute |

Episode Notes |

New gadget: Skyak- basically a flying jet-ski. | It is a possibility that wallaberries are a snack from 2121, as in real life, wallaberries don't exist. | Phil stated that Pim crashed the Skyak at "latitude 42, longitude 112." He should have added that it was "42 degrees north... 112 degrees west," which may partially explain why Keely located the site as "Indonesia." Actually, the island of Java in Indonesia includes latitude 42 "decaminutes" (420 minutes or 7 degrees) south, longitude 112 degrees east.
In fact, 42 N 112 W, if precise to the nearest minute, is about a mile or two (2-3 km) west of the village of Utida ("Ut"+"Ida") on the Utah-Idaho border, in the vicinity of Bergeson Hill and Big Hill. The nearest towns are Anderson and Weston, ID and Cornish, UT. (Source: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=utida+utah&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title)
The nearest true city is Preston, ID (population 5019), about 9 miles (14 km) NE and a potential inspiration for the show's Pickford.
PS for those who believe PotF takes place in California: If we guess that "112" is a typo for "122" degrees west, then 42 N 122 W is on the California-Oregon border, about 5 miles (8 km) NW of Dorris, CA (population 875) and 3 miles (5 km) WNW of Dorris Hill (elevation 5443 ft or 1659 m). The nearest true cities are Klamath Falls, OR and Yreka, CA, both over 20 miles (32 km) away. Although I have lived in California for the past 37 years, I still cast my vote for Preston, ID. |

Episode Quotes |

Phil: Dad, Pim doesn't need a baby-sitter. I think she needs more of a... a zookeeper! No, a whole team of zookeepers... with tranquilizer darts and high-powered hoses. | Keely: Curtis, wanna take your bath?
(Curtis shakes his head "no")
Phil: Watch and learn. Curtis! Who wants wallaberries? (Drops wallaberies into bathtub)
Curtis: WALLABERRIES! (Jumps into bathtub)
Keely: Shampoo?
Curtis: No, no poo.
Keely: I'll give you wallaberries!
Curtis: Okay, poo. | Cop: (pulls Lloyd and Barbara over) Have you been drinking?
Lloyd: Drinking? I've been doing nothing but! (sips big bottle of drink) | Phil: (to Keely) Here: hold my watch, keys, gum and label maker.
(Keely looks strangely at Phil)
You never know when you'll need a label. | Keely: Okay, so she's somewhere east of Kid Rock and north of Ricki Lake.
Phil: Great, my dad took the other skyak. We'll have to take our bikes.
Keely: That's okay, I know a shortcut through Tiger Woods. I know; this is a weird town. |
