Episode Notes |
| |
Characters: It is revealed in this episode that Tia moved away, explaining her absence for the season. The actual reason for Brenda Song's absence was that she left to work on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody full-time. | Nicknames: Over the course of the season, Owen calls Phil by several names. In this episode, he calls him Big Differ and FrankenDiffy. | Tidbit: Pim has never unpacked her suitcases after crash landing in 2003. | Chronology: The Diffys have been stuck in the present for 10 months. In the episode "Christmas Break" we learn that the Diffys first arrived in December of 2003, which would put the time of this episode on October of 2004. |

Episode Quotes |
| |
Phil: I now own at least three halter tops.
Barbara: Well, you don't have to buy them, Phil.
Phil: Well, when she buys one I get one half off, I'd be crazy not to. | Via: Whoops! This isn't the science lab...
Owen: Really? 'Cause I'm sensing a little chemistry!
Phil: And I'm sensing some toxic pickup lines. Ignore him. This is the broadcast lab. | Phil: (introducing himself to Via) I'm Phil. Smooth Talker here is Owen.
Owen: As in "Ohhh, when did this guy get so handsome?"
Phil: Or, "Oh, when will this guy give it a rest?"
Via: Oh, well I'm Via. Olivia, actually, but I like Via.
Owen: I like Via too. | Phil: ...Then they met up with Via to rent Lost Pony 2.
Owen: Wait, that pony got lost again? | Keely: (kisses Phil on the cheek) That's for introducing me to Via.
Phil: I get a kiss every time I introduce you to a girl? (grabs a passing girl) What's your name? Have you met Keely?
Keely: (laughs) Hey, Jenna.
Owen: Well hey, there, Jenna! Where you goin'? Owen's this way! | Lloyd: (upon seeing Phil reading a book) Whoa, whoa, whoa, no! Put that down, turn the TV on! It's way better; it's like a book that talks! | Keely: This has got to be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!
Phil: (looks at Keely) Me too!... | Phil: Ever since Tia left, you've been using me to do all the things you used to do with her! I don't wanna be your girlfriend, I wanna be your boyfriend! I — I mean... your friend. That's a boy. A guy. A guy friend. | Keely: (looking at her ringing phone) It's Via!?
Phil: Oh, don't get that! Uh - the roaming charges will kill ya! |

Episode Goofs |
| |
Keely: What do you think of this shot? Does it make my ears look crooked?
In the shot Keely is looking at, her hair is down, covering her ears completely. | Continuity: In the beginning, when Phil and Keely are at the day spa, the camera zooms out and you can see that Phil has five toes on each foot. In "You Say Toe-Mato", it states clearly that people from Phil's time only have four toes on each foot. |
