Lady Don't Fall Backwards

The title of this novel by Mrs. Ariadne Oliver has been taken from the Hancock's Half Hour comedy episode 'The Last Page' , a classic episode of the show where Tony Hancock is reading a mystery novel entitled Lady Don't Fall Backwards only to discover that the last page, which reveals the identity of the murderer, is missing. Sid's reaction is to say that the murderer stole the page so that nobody would know who did it, followed by one of Sid's absolutely filthy laughs.

It is one of the funniest and best known television episodes in British comic history.
