Green With Evil (1): Out of Control - Recap

After seeing Tommy Oliver, the new kid in town, prepare for a karate tournament at the Youth Center, Rita decides that he would be perfect as her new green ranger! At the expo, Tommy's opponent is Jason, and the match ends in a draw.
At school the next day, Kimberly is being bother by Bulk and Skull. After Tommy scares them away from her, Kimberly, who has a crush on Tommy, invites him to hang out with her and the other rangers after school.
As Tommy is later walking to the Youth Center, Rita sends putties to attack him as a test. After he defeats them, Rita captures him and turns him into the evil green ranger. Using his power coin, Tommy goes to the Command Center. He then places a disc into Alpha, corrupting his data, and then damages the consoles, severing Zordon's connection to Earth!
After Tommy leaves, Alpha manages to contact the rangers, and they fly to the Command Center in the RADBUG. After removing the disc from Alpha, they see a giant-sized Goldar on the viewing globe. They battle a group of putties and then fight Goldar in their megazord. Unfortunately, Tommy uses his power coin and boards the megazord. After kicking them out, he easily defeats them.
The rangers retreat to the Command Center. Unfortunately, Alpha still hasn't recovered from the disc's virus and is forced to shut down. They then watch the viewing globe as Tommy vows to destroy them.
