Gung Ho! - Recap

The Team Ninja Finals are coming up, but Tommy and Jason are having problems with teamwork. Bulk and Skull then introduce the rangers to the ninjas that they are managing. They give a demonstration, and the rangers are very impressed.
Later, as Kimberly and Trini walk through the park, Rita sends her new Super Putties. Surrounded, Kimberly and Trini call for help. The other rangers arrive, but the new Putties can't be defeated, so the rangers retreat to the Command Center. Zordon tells them that they are Rita’s new Super Putties, which are nearly indestructible. When the Super Putties are then detected attacking a factory, Zordon gives Jason and Tommy each a half of a map and sends them to get weapons capable of destroying the Super Putties. The other rangers morph and fight them, but when one is defeated, it forms into two!
Meanwhile, Tommy and Jason argue as they are looking for the weapons. They then see the weapons on top of a hill, but a giant, robotic creature attacks them! Since Jason can get to the top faster but Tommy is a better swordsman, Jason gives him his sword, and Tommy gives him his shield. While Tommy blasts the creature, Jason makes it to the top. Jason and Tommy then arrive at the factory and give the rangers the weapons, which they use to destroy the Super Putties.
Later, after Zordon reveals that Titanus, the robotic creature, was only a test of their teamwork and is actually an ally, Jason and Tommy defeat Bulk and Skull's ninjas in the finals.
