Island of Illusion (1) - Recap

While practicing for an upcoming dance contest, Bulk's comments make Zack doubt himself. He and Bulk then have a dance-off, and although Zack easily wins, he still thinks that he will fail and then leaves. When Rita begins summoning Lokar and Mutitus, a lightning storm appears and earthquakes start. Tommy stays at the Youth Center to comfort his karate students while the other rangers go after Zack.
The rangers find Zack in the park, but putties attack. Goldar and Scorpina arrive, and a brief battle ensues after the rangers morph. However, the giant Mutitus appears, so the rangers summon their megazord.
When the evil Lokar comes and makes Mutitus more powerful, Zordon contacts Tommy, who summons Dragonzord. However, Mutitus quickly covers both the megazord and Dragonzord in toxic foam. The rangers are then sent to an island in another dimension and soon discover that their communicators and power coins are gone!
After walking through a jungle, the rangers come across a magical midget known as Quagmire. Thinking they are a friend of Rita, he teleports away. Goldar then appears in the sky and sends monsters. However, right before they attack, they vanish. Goldar explains they are on the Island of Illusion, where nothing is real but the danger.
Zack freaks out and walks off, but he comes face to face with a snake only he can see. Petrified, he starts fading away! After Quagmire appears for a moment to say "Rita makes you doubt and fear, soon you're going to disappear", Billy explains that the loss of confidence is making his body dematerialize. Zack tries to fight back, but Goldar appears again and tells them that it's no use. One by one they will all fade away forever.
