The Green Candle (2) - Recap

After Alpha detects the molecular energy pattern of the putties that kidnapped Tommy, the rangers use molecular decoders to open a portal to the dimensional prison and send Jason through. Meanwhile, the Cyclops attacks again, and Tommy fights him with the Dragonzord. However, when Tommy is in trouble, Zack retrieves Jason, who was unable to get the candle. Using the Ultrazord, the rangers then destroy the Cyclops.
When the rangers return to the Command Center, Zordon reveals that the green candle has finished burning. In order to prevent Rita from regaining his powers, Tommy gives his power coin to Jason, allowing him to now temporarily use the chest shield and Dragonzord.
Later, when Kimberly goes to the park to talk to Tommy, the two share a kiss! He then asks her out to the dance, to which she accepts.
