As Kimberly is taken to the hospital, Finster informs Rita and Zedd that the spell over Kat has been broken because of her selfless act. The next day, the doctors tell Kat, Tommy, and Billy that Kimberly will be okay and that there was no permanent damage. Relieved, Billy contacts Aisha, Adam, and Rocky and tells them the good news. Elsewhere, Rito hears the message, and Zedd orders him to attack with Tengas. Aisha, Adam, and Rocky morph into Ninja Rangers and fight them but are overpowered. Seeing that they are in trouble, Zordon sends Billy and Tommy to save them.
Later, Kat tells the rangers the truth about her, but they forgive because they understand her dilemma since Tommy was once under Rita's spell. Kimberly then reveals that she has decided to quit gymnastics since they will need her to be a ranger. Meanwhile, Finster creates a new monster, and it is sent with Tengas to kidnap Kat. She is grabbed as she walks out of the hospital, but the rangers morph and rescue her. After she runs back into the hospital, Rita and Zedd make their monster grow. The rangers then summon the Shogun Megazord and destroy the monster.
Later, Rita and Rito leave the rangers a message threatening to toss Ninjor into the Sea of Sorrow if they don't surrender Kat!..
