Power Rangers: A Zeo Beginning (3)

The Command Center lies in ruins, the Rangers frantically search the debris for any sign of Alpha or Zordon, they find neither, but stumble on a miracle in the form of the Zeo Crystal. Meanwhile, Lord Zedd and Rita's' celebrations are cut short by a coup on their lunar palace courtesy of The Machine Empire.

While celebrating their victory over the Power Rangers, Rita and Zedd are attacked by the Machine Empire. They quickly decide to abandon the moon, but they have no place to go. Against Zedd's wishes, Rita contacts the only person she can think of: her father, Master Vile. He gives them permission, and they depart in Serpentera, leaving Rito and Goldar behind on Earth.
Meanwhile, as the rangers are resting, Adam notices the Zeo Crystal in some rubble. They unbury it and see that it is still in one piece. When Billy warns Tommy that the explosion may have had an effect on the crystal, Tommy places it on the ground, but then the ground starts to shake. The rangers begin sinking and fall into a pit as the Command Center begins rebuilding itself! They then land in what Billy explains is a lower chamber of the Command Center. A noise is then heard, and they follow it. Elsewhere, Goldar and Rito are walking along a street. Goldar is now wingless, and they both have amnesia!
The rangers hear Alpha speaking and are then told by him to enter "the vortex". After searching, they find it and step through, emerging in the new Power Chamber. Alpha appears and tells them that the Power Chamber has always been there in case the Command Center ever became vulnerable. After noticing that Zordon isn't there, Adam asks if he survived...

Episode continues right where the series finale of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers left off.

For its original airing, this episode featured no opening credits. This was probably done as to not spoil what would happen in the premiere.
