The Puppet Blaster - Recap

While Adam trains Tanya in martial arts, Captain Pete and Puppetman put on a show at the Youth Center. King Mondo gets an idea and sends Cogs, which dance around and make everyone think they're part of the show. However, one of them puts a device on Puppetman. After the Cogs leave, the rangers are puzzled as to why the Cogs didn't attack. As they contact Zordon, Puppetman becomes evil and hypnotizes the kids!
Billy traces a hypnotic signal to Puppetman and then contacts Adam and Aisha, who teleport to the Youth Center. The rangers morph and go to attack, but Puppetman uses the kids as a human shield. He orders the children to attack and leaves to go to a satellite center to broadcast to everyone on the planet. On his way there, he hypnotizes more kids. The rangers, unable to harm the children, teleport to the Power Chamber. Billy then gives Tommy the Defender Wheel, which spins at a certain RPM that will counter Puppetman's frequency. Tommy defeats Puppetman, but the monster grows. The rangers then summon the megazord. However, they are unable to harm him. Luckily Billy locates a direct satellite link with Mondo in Puppetman's nose. The megazord cuts off his nose, rendering him powerless. The rangers then easily destroy him.
Later, Alpha manages to reassemble Puppetman just in time for the next show at the Youth Center.
