After an anomaly opens a large insect-like creature breaks through. The team are pushed to their limits to make sure it returns home. Abby's brother ends up driving through the anomaly when he tries to find out what her job is and team try to rescue him.
The team try to deal with a group of rhinoceros-type beasts from the Eocene. Danny shows up with a woman from the future who tries to help.

After a year in the Cretaceous, Abby and Connor finally escape through an anomaly to their own time after finding a lost anomaly device in a Raptor's bower, only to be followed through by a giant Spinosaurus. Soon accosted by a brand new ARC team, they manoeuvre the creature into a massive arena, where, dangling from the roof, Connor accidentally drops the device into the Spinosaurus, imploding it from the inside. Warning him of the elusive dock creature, the pair track it down to the docks, only to find evidence of a fresh kill. A mysterious group come through an anomaly in a theatre, unknowingly followed by deadly tree creatures. As they attempt to escape, Matt inadvertently brings one of the group – Emily - back against her will. She promises to help him find the creature, in return for going back through the anomaly.
Saturday detention is thrown into disarray when a deadly Therocephalian attacks a teacher, allowing the kids to run riot. The team are soon faced with not only tracking down the creatures, but fighting against the antics of a group of terrified students. Finding a Therocephalian nest in the school canteen, Connor enlists the help of the kids to stun the creatures into submission before returning them through the anomaly.
Connor and Abby are sent to investigate unusual anomaly signals in a coastal village and uncover the existence of a supposedly mythical labyrinthodont that has turned its attentions to the local fishermen after attacking cows. Meanwhile, back at the ARC, Lester and Jess learn that Emily has been kidnapped by Ethan, prompting Matt to make a dash to a cemetery - where he faces a difficult choice.
Abby, Connor, Matt and Emily head out to find the newest anomaly at a grand estate preparing for a wedding. Pre-hysteric hyenas are on the loose and may cause problems for the wedding party. Abby and Connor are shocked to see who is getting married. Becker tracks Ethan with Jess' help. Matt has his last meeting with the mysterious older man and a secret is revealed.
Danny, the only outstanding member of the original team returns, and his revelations will have a profound effect on the ARC and its team. He has struggled through life in the Rift Valley and several other eras, and has fought to find a way back after discovering a secret the team needs to know.
Connor is working on a new secret project for Burton. Things become difficult for Connor and Abby.
The team have to deal with an underwater mission after a nuclear submarine discovers an anomaly in the sea. A huge scarey marine reptile is in the area in a bad mood.
A velociraptor is followed back to Victorian London by Matt.
Philip and Connor end up opening an aomaly in the ARC and end up being invaded by a mass of future-beetles. The beetles end up forcing the ARC to go into a complete lockdown.
More and more anomalies are happening. Connor and the ARC team race a race against time to stop Phillip and his machine.
Matt thinks that he has failed and believes Philip has won. Predators from the future attack. Matt tries to help Connor.
