Recap

The scene opens with Joanna, the woman Violet met in the airport six months back, stumbling into the office. She's been beaten badly, and thus is horribly bruised and battered, but loses consciousness before being able to identify her attacker. The team learns that Joanna is pregnant as she's rushed to the emergency room; the baby is about 12 weeks old. Violet believes it must be her husband, David, who has hit her in the past, Addison asks Violet if Joanna told her that. David shows up, and is told off by Violet who accuses him for Joanna’s condition; Davis instead claims he had a wakeup call after Violet talked to his wife at the airport. He also claims that he has been getting help, with things like anger management and therapy. He swears he didn't beat her. Pete too physically prevents David from coming anywhere close to Joanna. Meanwhile, at Sam’s office, Sheldon ribs Sam for sleeping with a 20 something supermodel; Jake walks in and joins the conversation. ..
