Project Runway: Reap What you Sew

This weeks challenge will require the designers to create a three piece look for INC, a large brand sold at Macy’s.

Designers are given 30 minutes to sketch and to prepare a presentation that will give the INC the information they need to pick 4 of the designers to serve as team leaders. Once the leaders have been chosen they have 15 minutes to meet with their earns, 100$ in their budget to buy materials and 2 days to complete the task.

The winning design will be put into production and sold in Macy’s largest stores nationwide, the outfit is shown in a Macy's window display for the designers to view and find out who won.

The episode was also filled with a lot of drama when it turned out that one of the designers had broken several rules.

Episode Notes
Keith Michael was the first designer to be disqualified from Project Runway. He had in his posession several Fashion how-to books, "a big no-no" in Tim Gunn's words, and he also left the production for several hours to use the internet, another violation of the rules.

Analysis
Who won and Why:Angela's smart outift would almost have been in the bottom two outfits had she put her "granny circles" all over the outfit like she originally wanted to, but Michael and Laura convinced her to use them as buttons.

Bonnies cowl neck sweater and hideous brown pants was the Triple LY. Last year's last year's last year. It was not what INC is about. Had the challege been a 70's throwback, she might've won.
