Romeo and Juliet and Juliet - Recap

In the beginning of the episode, there is a flashback of Shawn and Gus back in 1990 about to get beat up by some bullies. Unfortunately, Gus didn't learn much in regards to karate and Shawn didn't even take classes for it. That is when they got beat up. Now it is present day and they are arguing over who will be the good cop or the bad cop. They need to fire their assistant due to the fact that business hasn't been booming for them lately. That and Shawn wanted to have an assistant that was female, anyway. Unfortunately, their assistant is caught off guard by the fact that there is no business. Shawn had bragged about his father working at the SBPD and thought that there was going to be a lot of work sent to them.

Elsewhere, there is quite the event going down. In Chinatown there is Mr. Chiang and his daughter walking through the highly concentrated location. They are being stalked by someone that could only be described as a ninja. This person kidnaps his daughter, Bekki, before he could even see what was going on. Juliet is still on leave after the experience with Mr. Yen. Shawn is starting to become more and more worried about her due to that. When Mr. Chiang is reporting the kidnapping of his daughter the guys run into him. They want to take the case and basically demands that he does. Henry doesn't want them to do it, but they still go for it despite the lack of permission.

They go to Bekki's apartment and do some investigating. They find what looks to be a coin there and decide to ask Juliet what this could mean. She has been doing work with mostly papers at the court house. She doesn't want to be involved at all with the cases any more. Shawn doesn't like this response and pushes her to answer the question. She says that it is supposed to be a 1970 dynasty Chinese piece, but it is counterfeit. Lassi shows up wanting to get her to come back to work, too. He tells the "detectives" that there are two Triad gangs that this coin relates to. This means that the victim was kidnapped by either the Golden Triads or the Dragon Triads.

Shawn and Gus decide that they are going to talk to their assistant Ken, who is Asian, about finding where the Golden Triads hang out. They followed one of the gang members to where they would hang out all of the time. There were lots of gang members surrounding them and they eventually get caught. They are caught by the leader of the gang and it just so happens to be the father of the kidnapped woman. Shawn sees a familiar symbol while he is going on a bit of a tangent. He notices that a karate school uses the same symbol and it just so happens to be in the same territory. He takes classes with some young kids and also finds out that there is a hideout.

Shawn sees the guy who happened to be the kidnapper and follows him to where he is going into. He accidentally takes a dive through a window and gets caught. It is then that Shawn, Gus, and the ninja get caught by a few of the Dragon Triads. That is when three of the dragons get into a fight with the ninja. After the fight, Shawn and Gus decide to follow "ninja" to where he is going. Shawn breaks into the apartment and finds that the ninja and Bekki are making out.

Bekki and the ninja are in love and having a baby. The ninja happens to be the son of the leader of the Dragons. Shawn goes back to report the fact that there was no kidnapping and then they get a picture that shows her all tied up. The ninja's uncle planned the kidnapping so that there was a war under way. Shawn and Gus find Bekki and Sang captive in the karate studio. There is a heavy fight scene although Shawn is getting his butt kicked. When he is about to get killed Juliet busts in and saves him and the kidnapped victims.
