The scene opens in 1991, Shawn’s lizard, Lizardy dies. Henry wants young Shawn to deal with it, but he can’t; he is too disturbed by it. It seems Shawn has quite a hard time with death, from the look of things. Cut to present day and Gus is confronting Shawn with the ring he found in Shawn’s stolen Nintendo. Shawn explains that it’s his grandmother’s ring and he keeps it on him for emergencies. No wonder he was so upset it was stolen. It is quite apparent that Shawn was going to propose, but we’ll let him get away with that excuse for now. He needs to be sure, and it’s obvious he’s not from the look of things. As part of their job, Shawn and Gus are responsible for overseeing shipments at the Santa Barbara art museum. ..
