Subject: • "Pushing Daisies" ranked best new show in TV poll
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - After a U.S. prime-time television season notable for its lack of breakout hits, the supernatural fantasy "Pushing Daisies" emerged as the favorite new show of viewers in an AOL poll released on Tuesday.

Pushing Daisies is definitely at the top of my favourite new shows list. Another honourable mention would be Eli Stone. It's just as quirky and fun. I'm sure any PD fan would love Eli as well

The best thing about both shows is the length of the seasons. Due to the WGA strike, both shows were cut short. PD was 9 eps while Eli was 13. This meant that the plot was moving at rapid speed, in a great way. No filler, unnecessary stuff. Just a condensed plot in the 9/13 eps. They both were brilliant! Can't wait for season 2s.

I wanted to watch Eli Stone, but I couldn't stay awake late enough! Maybe I'll try and catch up before it returns.
