WOW, Sorry, but this has got to be one of the most frustrating shows I have seen aired outside of “Swamp People”.
As an amateur zoologist this show is just a plain waste of time, unless it is meant to be pure entertainment. There is nothing mankind can do at this point to eliminate the Nile Monitors and Iguanas in Florida at this point, as even if there were killed on site it would still not abate the problem. Mankind, due to selfishness, has once again disrupted a delicate ecosystem. I used to raise Iguanas as a teenager in Connecticut and to see grown men physically trying to chase them down on foot in the wild is nothing short of ridiculous. If we want to make a true impact, BAN the import of these animals, as for the ones that have already gotten a foothold, its way too late. Educating and then leaving people to be responsible on their own never works, look at our oceans fishing industries for example. These critters will NEVER be removed from the environment in this way, if at all.
