June 15, 1972: In Sam's third leap, he is an English teacher named Gerald Bryant. In order to leap he must help Oscar and Jamie Lee so that they go on to get married. In the original history, Jamie Lee married Gerald Bryant and the latter was killed by her father in a so-called, "shotgun wedding". Sam also takes on another mission. He notices that his old flame Donna Eleese is working at the nearby bar and Sam thinks this he has been given a second chance.

Episode Quotes |

Sam: (to Donna) If you look into my eyes, you'll see another soul. | Oscar: Oh, she has a great body.
Sam: She also has a mind too.
(Sam clicks his fingers to bring Oscar back to reality)
Sam: She also has a mind too. A deeply, poetic mind. | Al: You are thinking too literal, Sam.
Sam: Well, that is definitely the symbol for a capital...our capital? He's in Washington D.C.!
Al: (takes out a cigar) Oh boy, I'd give you one of these if I could. | Jamie Lee: What else is there to do?
Sam: Umm...
(The kettle boils)
Sam: Have a cup of tea? | Sam: Hieroglyphics? I can, I can read hieroglyphics?
Al: Well, you never know unless you try. |
