October 16, 1961: Sam is shocked to find that he has leaped into a woman, Samantha Stormer, for the first time. Sam has to put up with Al, because his observer sees her and not him and finds her to be very attractive. Sam also has to put up with a boss who sexually harasses him and a suicidal roommate.

Episode Notes

This is the one of the only episodes in which Al first appears to Sam before the opening credits.

This episode marks the first time that Sam leaps into a woman.

Sam: (narrating as he dresses) I've come to the conclusion that women are masochists. Its like someone designed a torture rack you can wear, from the bra to stockings to tight skirts to the shoes from hell. Everyday they perform this weird binding ritual and for what?

Gloria: Sam?....Sam, are you ready?
Sam: (mumbling to himself) Wow...This leap I'm going to be called by my own name!

Al: If you weren't my best friend I'd…

Gloria: Oh, that time of the month huh?
Sam: Uh...no, I don't think so.

Sam: Don't even start unless you want to eat your teeth for lunch.

Sam: I have to go...to the ladies' room.
