Episode Notes

Michael Blake (Charles Rocket) was born on July 11, 1922 and, in the original history, committed suicide on June 3, 1976. In a tragic case of life imitating art, Rocket took his own life on October 7, 2005, less than fifteen years after the production of this episode.

At the end of this episode, Scott Bakula (Sam) and Dean Stockwell (Al) say "Merry Christmas, everyone."

This is the first of two Christmas-themed episodes. The other is "Promised Land - December 22, 1971". They are also the only leaps that take place in December of any year.

Charles Rocket (Michael Blake) would later play Commander Dirk Riker in "A Leap For Lisa - June 25, 1957".
