Episode Quotes
Moody: And you can quote the hell out of me on that one.

Moody: Herb, you don’t get punished for not wasting the taxpayers money.

Sam: I was in the electric chair! Where were you?
Al: It's not like you're not lost in a mall. You're lost in time.

Al: Uh, according to Ziggy, you die on the 14th of May, 1971. That's... oh, that's in two days.
Sam: I got that, Al! Why?
Al: Why?
Sam: Why?
Al: Why? Well, probably because you can't live with two thousand volts of electricity rushing through your body.

Al: If I had had an attorney like that when I was in court, I’d still be in court!

Al: Man, he’s gonna break you into a million pieces and walk away with the governorship, and let two innocent men die in the chair. I just hope Sam Beckett’s not one of 'em.

Maria: (to Al) Are you an angel?
Tearsa: No. I’m not, I wish I were.
Maria: Not you, him.

Al: (to Maria) All the angel needs is for you to go and tell that lady to stop.

Tearsa: (to Moody) It’s hard to be loyal to the Devil.

Sam: Because of her, you have your conclusive evidence and Raul and I will be dead in an hour. Now, isn't that enough?
District Attorney Moody: No.
Sam: What is it with you? You won't be happy until everybody on death watch is dead?
District Attorney Moody: Your impending death has made you a very brave man, Mr. Ortega.
Sam: I don't want to see Tearsa's life ruined.
District Attorney Moody: You won't. You'll be dead.

District Attorney Moody: Are you going to dance before your execution, Jesus? Oh. It's an old prison saying, that a man on his final walk to the chair, the stench of fear chokes him and he panics, struggling in the arms of his captor for one more moment of freedom. Some people say it looks like a dance. The last dance before death. Romantic, don't you think?
