Fashion Guru, played by Carson Kressley

Carson Kressley is the fashion consultant on the show. He analyses the straight guys' wardrobe choices, taking them clothes shopping, and helping them create a look, being responsible for all their clothes, shoes, and other accessories such as glasses/sunglasses and sometimes jewelry. He also gives them tips on dressing for a wide variety of situations, and on taking care of their new clothes. He is the most outgoing and is the joker on the show.
Carson Kressley worked in the fashion industry, for Ralph Lauren, and as an independent stylist, for many years. He has his own fashion line, Perfect, and has published a book on men's fashion.
Culture Vulture, played by Jai Rodriguez

Jai Rodriguez is the show's 'culture guru.' In practise this means he takes care of whatever the straight guy needs that does not fit into one of the other four specialities - giving etiquette tips or advice in how to behave in a certain situation, or just talking to them about whatever issues they have. Often Jai's performance skills are called into use to give dancing or singing lessons.
Jai Rodriguez is an actor and singer who has performed in many Broadway and Off-Broadway shows (such as Rent, The Producers, and Zanna, Don't!). He has acted in several movies and TV shows and performed as a singer in clubs and at various events. He has also released a single and is working on an album.
Design Doctor, played by Thom Filicia

Thom Filicia is responsible for interior design on the show. He makes over the straight guys homes, consulting with them and their families to create a home that will suit their personalities and lifestyles, covering everything from painting and recarpeting, to furniture and accessories, to structural changes. He also turns his design skill to other areas, such as decorating halls and outdoor areas for weddings and other events, when needed.
Thom Filicia gained a degree in Interior Design from Syracuse University. He has owned his own high-end interior design company since 1998, and has designed for many high profile clients and projects all over the world.
Food and Wine Connoisseur, played by Ted Allen

Ted Allen takes care of food and wine on the show. He helps the straight guys learn to cook or to brush up on their cooking skills; takes them to restaurants to help widen their culinary horizons; and arranges caterered food for certain events such as wedding. He consults with the straight guy and his family and loved ones as to their tastes, and helps them both choose a menu for the 'end event' (either cooked by themselves, or catered, depending on the event), and helps give them the skills they need to cook more and be more confident with food and cooking in the future. He also helps the straight guy with wine and gives tips on wines and other (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks.
Ted Allen is a journalist and writer who has specialised in writing about food and wine. He started out as a restaurant reviewer for Chicago Magazine, and has been a contributing editor for Esquire since 1997. He often appears on other food- and cooking-related TV shows and has published his own cookbook.
Grooming Guru, played by Kyan Douglas

Kyan Douglas takes care of grooming on the show. He takes the straight guys physical appearance in hand, and helps them with all their skin, hair and body problems. His area often overlaps with fitness and health. He helps the straight guys find an exercise/fitness regime, accompanying them to a gym, swimming pool or yoga class; and takes them to doctors and/or shows them treatments for specific issues such as back problems.
Kyan Douglas is certified in cosmetology and worked as a colorist for the NY hair salon Arrojo Studios. He has a great deal of experience in various different fields of beauty and well-being, and is also an ex-massage therapist and a trained yoga instructor. He works with the beauty company L'Oreal as spokesman and product advisor, and has published a book on women's beauty.
