Twenty-three-year-old Jimmy Chance tries to do the right thing by saving a beautiful girl from her boyfriend. She's so grateful that she spends the night with him in his van. The next morning, however, Jimmy and his family discover that she's actually a wanted serial killer. Virginia, Jimmy's mother, knocks her out with the television set and turns her in. She gets convicted, sent to prison, and leaves him with a baby to raise. Now Jimmy has to learn that it's not so easy being a father
