Jeff and Jeannie are hired by Meredith Hortweldine, who believes his brother, Jasper, is trying to kill him. Where they find that Jasper has hired their arch-rivals, Marshall and Snellgrove because he believes that Meredith is trying to kill him. A bomb then explodes in the house, apparently killing Meredith and Jasper; Mrs Celia Proffitt prepares to read the will, the Hortweldine family tree reveals a long-buried secret, and another ghost makes an appearance...
