Marty Hopkirk, played by Kenneth Cope
Full Name: Martin Hopkirk
Occupation: Private Investigator
Marital Status: Married
Cause of Death: Murdered, run down by a car
Day and Time of Death: Wednesday, 8:30 p.m.
Marty Hopkirk's two primary character traits were worrying about everything and jealousy toward his wife. He may have died, but those traits live on in his ghost.
Marty is a gentleman. He continues to stand when women enter a room, even though no one can see him. He refuses to go into a bathroom or a bedroom where a woman is undressing.
Marty is also obsessive. He hates the very thought of Jeff driving "his" car. His obsessive nature can be a good thing, however, such as when he refuses to give up on a case.
He is also fiercely loyal. Even when Jeff orders him to quit "haunting" him, Marty never strays too far from his partner, ready to help -- even if Jeff doesn't want the help.
