Jean Hopkirk found herself a young widow and Jeff's legal partner when her husband Marty was murdered. At first, she stays clear of the business, but eventually goes to work at the Randall and Hopkirk office, ostensively as Jeff's secretary. She finds herself involved in a case on more than one occasion, however.
She misses Marty, "even the way he used to worry" she confesses to Jeff, unaware of the fact that her husband's ghost is still very nearby, keeping a protective eye on her. |
