Episode Quotes

Jeff: Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Marty: (appearing between Jeff and the mirror) Young Marty Hopkirk!

Marty: (Seeing Jeff's darkroom bulb) What's with the lighting? Infrared steak?

Griggs (entering Jeff's apartment with German shepherd on a leash): Sit.
Jeff: Me or the dog?
Griggs: Both of you.
(Dog barks)
Jeff: Woof.

Mannering: (apologizing for beating Jeff up earlier) We trust we did you no permanent harm.
Jeff: It'll probably come out in my grandchildren.

Episode Goofs

Jean is obviously wearing a bathing suit while in the shower.

When Jean gets out of the shower her hair is dry.

Sheldon knows everything about Marty (including the fact that he liked fluted champagne glasses), but the story never explains how Sheldon acquired his knowledge.

Marty's lips are not moving when he's telling Jeff to hit Sheldon during the fight.

Jeff: This is part of the Worthing silver collection.
Marty: How do you know that, Jeff?
Jeff: It's written on the bottom.

Jeff says, "It's written on the bottom" before he turns the silverware over to see what's written on the bottom.

Cultural References

The Wicked Queen asked this question to her mirror every day in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Sheldon: You think I don't why you suggested spending the day here at Woburn Abbey?

Woburn Abbey is a real stately home in England, located in Woburn Village.
